Abstract
Mobilni uređaji s Android operacijskim sustavom najzastupljeniji su u svijetu. Dolaze u raznim oblicima i veličinama, proizvedeni od strane raznih kompanija s različitim hardverom i softverom. U ovom diplomskom radu opisat će se operacijski sustav Android, njegova povijest, verzije, arhitektura i uređaji. Razvojne alate Android SDK i Android Studio moguće je besplatno preuzeti sa službenih stranica te svatko može započeti razvoj nekakve aplikacije. Šahovska otvaranja su tema ove aplikacije te će se ona prvo pojasniti, a zatim će se prikazati koraci razvoja aplikacije koja će se kasnije moći preuzeti iz trgovine Google Play.
