Abstract
Diplomski rad sadrži usporedbu modernih video kodeka na tehničkoj razini, kao i praktični dio koji se sastoji od rezanja različitih tipova videa rezolucije 4K, na sekvence od 30 sekundi, softverskog i hardverskog kodiranja sekvenci u programu Handbrake, te usporedbu korištenjem Netflixovog VMAF algoritma za perceptivno ocjenjivanje kvalitete videa. Usporedba se radi na način da se originalna i kodirana sekvenca raspakiraju u format bez gubitaka ".YUV", te nakon toga radi usporedba kvalitete izvornog i kodiranog videa korištenjem VMAF algoritma, pomoću istreniranog modela koji je u ovom slučaju treniran na 4K videu.
