Abstract
U završnom radu proučiti ćemo utjecaj Interneta na Američke predsjedničke izbore 2016. godine te pogledati kako je Donald Trump u svojoj kampanji koristio Internet, koliko su Trumpovi Tweetovi na Twitteru bili utjecajni i kako je kampanja koristila druge društvene mreže tijekom izbora. Naravno, to nije sve što je utjecalo na izbore ali ću pokušati dati uvid kako je posve novi mediji specifičan na Internetu internet memes utjecao na izbore, te kako su stranice kao 4chan i Reddit pomogle širenju Trumpove kampanje na Internetu. Drugi kandidati pokušali su se boriti protiv "ratnog stroja" kojim su te stranice postale. Zadatak osoba koje su bile zaposlene na tim stranicama bio je demotivacija korisnika istih. Ovi izbori vidjeli su i nevjerojatno povećanje lažnih vijesti kao propagande i alata dezinformacije.
