Abstract
U ovom radu objašnjena je povijest brze izrade prototipa i svaka tehnologija aditivne proizvodnje s prednostima i nedostacima te materijalima koje može koristiti. Opisana su područja primjene i zapaženi rezultati primjene 3D tehnologija na pojedinim područjima. Spomenuti su potrebni softveri za modeliranje 3D objekta i web stranice koje nude pristup gotovim modelima. U praktičnom dijelu opisan je program kojim je kreiran model za printanje, korišteni 3D printer i dobiven rezultat.

This work explains the history of rapid prototyping and describes additive manufacturing technologies with the advantages and disadvantages, and materials that can be used. Described are areas of application and given results of using 3D technology like 3D printers in some areas. This work also covers the necessary software for modeling 3D objects, web pages which offer access to templates models (ready made models). For the practical part of this document, is described the software that was used to create a model for printing, use of 3D printer and obtained the results.
